Altius Architecture, for a family of six. Being one of their latest
inspiring homes, it features contemporary elements and a coated in blue zinc cladding exterior, standing out from the general street landscape. Glass panels replace the regular walls, allowing the sun to flood the interior with light and warmth, especially during wintertime.“Particular attention was paid to natural daylight exposure at the basement walk-out, easing its transition to grade via a sunken pool, deck and grass terraces. Shading is provided by deep roof overhangs and cantilevered volumes.”
